How we read letters

  • We treat accented letters as their plain form: é as e, ü as u, ñ as n and ø as o. That way we work out your name the same way as in the original tradition, wherever it comes from.
  • Vowels are A, E, I, O, U. We always treat the letter Y as a consonant. In some foreign names tradition occasionally treats it as a vowel; we chose one simple rule and say so openly. It only affects your Heart's desire number and the impression you leave on others.
  • The numbers 11, 22 and 33 are master numbers — we don't reduce them further. They only appear from the sum of the letters in a name; no single letter is 11, 22 or 33.
